Balochistan, the land of unexplored natural reserves is rich with variety of Marble , Granite & Onyx deposits. However these reserves have neither been mapped properly nor explored, therefore proper benefit could not be drawn till now. Mining techniques used result in upto 70% loss during mining and 40% of the extracted stones are lost during processing. Only 15% of the extracted marble/ granite remain available for commercial sales.
