Hub, Tehsil of District Lasbela is a boarder area of the province of Balochistan connected with Karachi District of province of Sindh. In mid-seventies, Hub was identified as a suitable place for establishment of industrial projects because of its proximity to the port city of Karachi, ideal law & order conditions, low price of land, lucrative fiscal incentives and concessions available at that time, availability of water which a scarce commodity in Karachi and high standard of services offered by the Government of Balochistan to the entrepreneurs.
